This month I have been learning about the power of attachment and the freedom of detaching. The episode “Love to you” reminded me that we can change the love we hold for people. We can loosen attachment and the power those peoples “love” have over us and change how we receive it.
Can’t wait for you to hear it!
I need some ♥️! I made a hilarious mistake in my latest vocal submission! Instead of signing off with…Mulch is rooting for you, I accidentally wrote…
Mulch is rotting for you!! 😫
Which isn’t completely wrong I guess, but not what I wanted to say.
If you are curious, link is in bio! At the very bottom you can give it a ♥️Thank you!!
💜NEW💜 “Becoming Fiercely Vulnerable with the shit that makes us grow” is my latest post on Vocal. Link in Bio.
Please give it a ♥️ at the bottom!
For those who would like a quick summary of what Mulch is, a peek into my story, and what our Mulch Membership will look like give it a read!
✨Disclaimer!✨ With the end of school this week (I am a teacher) I rushed this piece to meet the deadline of a challenge I was really interested in. There are a few errors, but one in particular that is hilarious!! Can you find it?
It was a neat challenge! It gave creators a cool opportunity to have a chance to win one year of free access to “Memberful”, a tool creators can use with their subscribers!
Thank you for all the support and anyone who decides to click that heart at the bottom of the article!!
My next post “All Thanks to Alice” is up on the Hey Young Writer Blog! Check it out!
“Imagine you are holding a bunch of helium balloons, each balloon representing someone in your life you have difficulty letting go. One by one, focus on each person and then when you are ready, release the balloon from your hand and that person from your heart.
As I closed my eyes, people I had loved and lost swayed above me. I held their face in my mind and felt the irrational unwavering loyalty I still held for them, pierce my heart. My hands painfully gripped the strings of the balloons tight, unable to release them. Then when I finally did, hot panic rushed to my face and anxiety filled my chest.”
Releasing the shame and guilt around not constantly “producing” or “doing” has been something I have really worked at the past couple years.
I would frequently have a rush of anxiety if I wasn’t being “productive.”
What I have learnt about myself is my rest is productive. Taking time to think, pause, reflect, process, synthesize and just be IS also productive. Not to mention quite healing!
